Frequently asked questions

Question

What are your service areas?

We are based in the Portland/Vancouver metro area, but serve a wide area, including surrounding cities such as Seattle, Bend, and Eugene. Some locations may incur a mileage fee. To check if we service your location, reach out to our team and we'd be happy to assist you.

Question

How do you determine pricing for your services?

Our pricing is based on the type of service, materials required, and the scope of the job. We provide transparent, upfront pricing before any work begins, so there are no surprises. Quotes are generally given in a range (for example $225-$325). Reach out to us to discuss specifics for your project.

Question

Help! Do you do rush jobs?

Yes! Please let us know the time constraint you are under. Everything possible will be done to meet your deadline. Rush jobs may incur an additional fee.

Question

I'm really busy. How long does it take to repair a window frame?

The average time is about 1 1/2 hours. However, it can take more or less time depending on the extent and type of damage. Please feel free to ask!

Question

What does a typical residential repair day look like?

Typically, the repair tech will arrive in a white work van within a two or three hour arrival window. If a tighter window or exact time is needed then please let us know. A lockbox or garage code can be used if you won't be present. The tech will be bringing a couple tool bags, vinyl, and a ladder if necessary. If the repair is indoors then shoe covers can be used. Noise is made if cutting out damage is necessary, but this typically lasts less than 15 minutes. If you work from home or have a sleeping baby, please feel free to coordinate this with the tech so you are interrupted as little as possible. The repair tech will be clean and tidy, and leave the area in the same or better condition than it was found in. After the repair, payment can be made by several methods and is due at time of service, unless other arrangements have been made. Please feel free to ask if you have any other accommodations that would be helpful to you!
